Battalion High Adventure Camp

Campers spend a full week focusing on one great activity

 High Adventure Camp was a blast this year.  Registration will be closed until next year.

Is Survivor right up your ally? These guys get to spend the week learning how to live in the great outdoors. Spend the week camping in the wild, cooking over open fires, fishing in the Grand river, and more!

Experience shotguns, muzzleloaders, rifles, bows and more.  Learn from an avid hunter and experienced NRA certified hunter safety instructor. Also, receive your Ohio Hunter Safety Certification!

Ever dream of road-course racing? Test your nerves, skills and reflexes in this intense racing experience. Learn all aspects of the track from working the pits, racing vehicle maintenance, and multiple days of time-trial racing.

Lots of golf and the summer camp experience for one great price.  You will get to work on your skills whether you are an experienced golfer or a beginner.  This activity includes instruction and trips to different golf courses throughout the week.  Bring your own clubs.

Lots of paintball and a chance to learn from leaders who participate in paintball tournaments.  Run by the Ohio Christian Paintball Players Association. Equipment: Bring your own marker or pay an extra $25 to rent one. One case of paint with registration; extra paint is available at camp store (at market value).

Registration deadline: May 11. Call for availability after May 14th. (Must be at least 14 years or older). Scuba diving opens a whole new world.  Gain experience in the on-site lake and then take a trip to an off-site quarry to experience a world under water. We add a SCUBA Certification course, and those who get certified are then able to dive at recreational sites around the world. This is a physically intense course, so come ready to swim hard. Price includes all equipment.

For those who are already certified divers.  You've already finished the intense study for certification, so look forward to water games at the lake to brush up on skills and conditionin, and a great time at the quarry for recreational dives.  Registration includes equipment, dive fees and personal insurance.

Aviation!  Must be at least 14 years or older.  Ever dream of flying an airplane?  This is a hands-on experience (you get to fly the plane!) and is designed to expose the camper to the world of flight.  Run by Brigade Air and certified flight instructors, guys get to experience flying for themselves and learn about job opportunities in Missionary Aviation and other fields.

Application and support-raising process required. Must be at least 15 years old. Designed to develop teen servant leaders. A week of intense spiritual and relational training is in store for those teenage guys who want to become junior leaders for our Stockade and Tree Climber camps. You must come highly recommended by your local church leaders and adult mentors, and be accepted by our board to qualify for this program. Signing up to be a junior counselor is a 4 ½ week commitment.
