Woodsmanship

In this craft you will learn basic wilderness survival skills like building fires, reading a compass, constructing a shelter, and more. You have the opportunity to discover the wonders of God’s creation while sharpening skills that will help make you a master woodsman. Everyone in the Woodsmanship craft will go on a special campout on Thursday night in handmade shelters under the cool night sky. We will attempt to locate the basic needs for life, like food, water, and warmth, all within the awesome woods of Stony Glen Camp. Trained craft leaders ensure a safe yet exciting experience. If you are full of energy and are looking for an adventure, then Woodsmanship is the craft for you!
